In the UK, only 1 in 7 people have been awarded The Lucky 16.
In fact, only one in 3 are allowed to win The Lucky 16 a second time…
How has your lucky streak come to be?
“You’ve been lucky.” We’re not talking about winning prizes, we mean when you win the lottery.
You’ve probably heard that in the past 20 years, the number of people being selected to be offered a second chance to win The Lucky 16 has soared by over 200%. When this happens, the good news of being eligible to win the second time gets spread around.
But how does having a second chance to go into the lottery help you? This is what we asked a recent poll from the National Lottery Trust, who said that having a second chance on The Lucky 16 can have a profound effect on your life, and a significant one at that. Here are what they said:
“After reading through the results of this new Lucky 16 website we can say that The Lucky 16 is a great choice for anyone wanting extra time to relax and enjoy the holidays. It is a fun and easy way to ensure your mind is off of work, studying or worry. We have heard that anyone with a lucky streak will find having a second chance on these online lottery tickets to be relaxing.”
More than 250,000 people have registered so far, with a new 1 in 7 chance, or one in five of people being offered a second chance to go into The Lucky 16 on a second visit. In the UK, this means two in three people have been offered a second chance in the last 20 years, and more than a third of people are offered a second chance on any occasion.
The number of people being offered a second chance to go to The Lucky 16 has risen by more than 200% – more than doubling – compared to the original “Lucky 6” draw.
In the UK, The Great British Lotto now has more players than the national lottery. With more than 250 million Lotto tickets sold each week (1.5 million every second day, meaning the average ticket sold is 1,000 every second day – that’s almost twice the number sold by Lotto), it is one of the most successful.
