A couple of months ago, some people asked me how you could do the same thing for 1080p, and I said, “You can’t do it yet. 1080i. You can shoot 4k, but you can only get in about 30 metres per second at that range.”
That’s why the Canon 1Ds Mark III uses 16-megapixel sensors, and that’s why 1080p still isn’t at the level that it should be.
