We have a special message for you today as we enter the third week of our campaign, as we head toward our $200,000 fundraising goal by the deadline on the 10th of March.
For the past few weeks, we have been working to keep the campaign’s momentum going, not only through word of mouth but through our social networks of course. This month is no exception.
From all of us here at the Teamsters, what a remarkable show we’ve been putting together.
But you don’t just do this every day. In fact, you do it very frequently, often hundreds, sometimes thousands, of times in an entire campaign. The key lies in not only your word choice, but also your timing for your messaging campaign. Your content can be a tremendous catalyst for a campaign’s success. You can also achieve great things through clever or unexpected tactics.
There’s too many great examples at Facebook, Twitter and throughout these other channels of how you can use these three methods to get a bigger crowd to engage; a bigger audience to share and a bigger audience to help spread your message.
While the Teamsters do our part, we are all in the driver’s seat, so let’s take a moment to reflect on a few tactics and tactics that will help you achieve even more.
1. Be Bold
With the support of our members and those in our campaigns, we’ve made a strategic and strategic decision early in this season that will help our campaign continue well into the future. For many of you, it will be your first campaign you’ve ever organized. Whether you make your first campaign at your workplace or if you are new to unions, it takes a lot of hard work to get the ball rolling and getting organized can be much easier the stronger your organization is.
