I have not traded options in years. And I doubt I am ever going to again.
How do I keep all the options? I can’t. I am not smart enough. And if I was smart enough, I should have realized that it wouldn’t be so easy, and that I should have had more than one broker. And now it’s too late.
I have a lot of money to save. How can I do that? How can I buy a house?
How much money should I save?
How much can I invest? Yes! Yes, it’s worth it!
How much money can I put into an IRA?
How much debt can I save?
When you buy a house, what does that mean for your debt? How long are you supposed to wait to pay it off?
For how much money do I invest in my portfolio?
Which stocks are great? Which stocks don’t matter? How much of it should I put into my portfolio?
Why are stocks so overvalued and when do I buy into stocks? What do I invest in?
How to choose the right stocks to invest in?
What are the best stocks to invest in?
How much money should I save on my salary?
How much do you save on your income?
There are so many questions, so many different answers, so many different ways to approach these problems, it makes me wonder if there is any right way? Does the answer matter?
My favorite book was “Do You Still Believe in the Meaning of Life?” by Steven Johnson. My hope is that someday I’ll be a great investor. But right now I am the only person in the world who actually does it. I hope.
A few other thoughts:
If you’re not ready to start trading futures, maybe take a pass. You don’t have to be great at trading options to be good at it.
Don’t lose your money on anything but the worst stock picks.
If you really want to have fun investing, keep track of your stocks and see what happens during each market cycle.
I’m not suggesting that you can get rich this way or make any kind of money in trading futures. I am more suggesting that your first-pass at this game is actually a good idea.
