The Phantom Ganon is a recurring enemy in The Legend of Zelda series.[1] Originally only encountered in The Wind Waker,[2] the Phantom Ganon is first encountered in Twilight Princess,[3] and returned in A Link Between Worlds.[4] Unlike later foes, the Phantom Ganon returns to its original form as an egg, though its appearance is that of a ghostly version of Link. This is the first form to be defeated, as well as the only game in which Link must defeat three or more versions of an enemy simultaneously using Ganon’s Sword.[5][6]

The Phantom Ganon later appears in the first chapter of A Link Between Worlds. As such, Link can obtain a second
