Does B&H buy used cameras? – Take Pictures And Make Money

In most cases, we buy used equipment at full retail price so you can be sure you are getting a quality product with good age, and value.

How does B&H deal with returns?

Once we receive your original camera or phone, we will ask you a few questions to insure that the equipment is new. Some items we do not accept returns on, including:

Cell phones

Computer equipment

PVC cameras (cameras that only make up part of the camera)

Any camera and accessories for sale that have been used or not used within the last three years

We only accept return of new items for return shipping if the returned item is covered under our Return Policy. Once you have accepted the Return Policy, we will contact you for return postage and will send your item back to us via our shipping method of choice including UPS, FedEx or USPS. We will ship your item as soon as possible. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Your return may take up to 2 weeks to be sent back to you.

Can my camera get scratched or damaged on return shipping?

All new cameras, including cameras and phones with hard-shell covers, can be returned to us free of charge with a prepaid return label. No return label will be accepted unless it is clearly labeled as a return label. Please label your returned item with your return address so we can keep track of the return postage. Once we send your item back to us, we will not use a credit card to process the return. We always thank you for your understanding and loyalty in shopping with us and we will endeavor to help you in any way possible with returns once this has been resolved.

Do I have to wait to receive my receipt?

When we receive your package from B&H, we process your return within 24 hours of your order being placed.

What if no one checks to see if the returned item is covered under the Return-Me Policy?

At this time, we do not accept returns for any items that come with a manufacturer invoice or any items we sell that are listed in the returns section at the front desk.
